3-Card Poker
According to the basic poker betting rule, 3-Card Poker in fact has two separate games, they are Ante and Play (Raise) and PairPlus, that are played between the gambler and dealer. To win the pot the poker player is to obtain the three-card hand stronger than the dealer has. In Ante and Play (Raise) game the gambler only bets whether he/she will make the poker hand better than the dealer has, while the object of the Pair Plus game is to obtain the pair or better. The player may make both of the bets. The game action starts by the cards being dealt. Both the poker player and dealer receive three cards each. The poker player checks the cards and decides whether to proceed the play or quit. If the gambler prefers to stay he or she has to bet the amount which is equal to Ante size, this means that the gambler chooses to Play (Raise). The cards are revealed and in case the dealer holds Queen or better (it means that the poker hand qualifies) the hands are compared and the winner is paid off according to the payout table. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify then the poker player receives 1-to-1 on the Ante wager and Play bet is returned to the gambler. In case of Pair Plus bet the poker hands are not compared, the poker player is paid out according to the PairPlus payoff table (learn the detailed poker betting rule and payout tables at online casinos you choose to play at).

This poker game involves from two to eight gamblers and has five rounds. As the poker betting rule states, firstly the gamblers post Ante bet and are dealt three cards each, one of these cards is exposed. Two hidden cards are called “hole” cards and that dealt face up is called the “door” card. Now the gamblers that are still in the game are given four cards more, one after another followed by betting. At first three cards are given face up and the last one is face down. That’s why, in general every gambler gets seven cards, but he/she has to use only five cards to form his or her hand. In the showdown the cards are revealed and evaluated. The player with the best hand is awarded the pot.
Holdem Poker
Holdem poker is the most popular card game offered in all gambling halls. Holdem is played using the traditional 52 cards deck between up to ten gamblers. The game session consists of four rounds the first of which begins after the blind bets are placed. According to the basic poker betting rule, the first poker player next to the dealer posts the small blind bet and the second gambler places the big blind. As a rule the big blind size is equal to the lowest betting amount set by the poker betting rule while the small blind is the half of the big blind. The players are dealt two hidden cards that is followed by betting. Five face-up community cards are placed on the board, first three of them (called the flop) are dealt and then the rest two cards one after another (or the turn and river) followed by betting each. In betting the poker players can choose betting options to check, bet, fold, call, or raise which depends on their desire and the other players’ actions. Each betting round is over as soon as all the poker players have contributed the equal sum to the pot. At last in the showdown the hands are shown and the hands are compared. The gambler can use any of the pocket cards and five community cards to make the five cards hand. The poker player that holds the highest hand wins the pot. If there is tie the pot is split.
Omaha Poker
Omaha poker is one of the most popular poker games because of its similarity with the Holdem. The rules of Omaha are quite easy and they in fact differ from the Texas Holdem poker betting rule in several points. The most important difference is that in Omaha the players after the blinds placing receive four pocket or hole cards each. After that five community cards are placed on the board followed by betting each. In the showdown the gamblers shows their hands. Unlike Holdem in Omaha poker the gambler is to use two of their hole or pocket cards and any three community cards to form the hands. It is one more difference of Omaha poker. In Omaha poker like in Texas Holdem the standard hand rankings are applied.
